Attractions in Newlyn

  • Established by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada in 1920, many studio potters have had their training here.

  • The 16th century Paul Parish Church is located in the village of Paul just outside of Mousehole

  • Home to a permanent collection of Newlyn School paintings and an exhibition detailing the history of Penzance

  • Island castle set in the middle of Mount's Bay, just off the coast of Marazion. The Mount is now managed by the National Trust but remains the home of St Aubyn family.
