Cape Cornwall from Kenidjack Valley

Looking out of the end of Kenidjack Valley to Porth Ledden cove and Cape Cornwall beyond. To the left is the wheel pit of Boswedden tin mine. This valley is also known as Nancherrow and is just north of St Just. This is one of my favourite spots and is a glimpse of real Cornwall. A mix of beautiful rugged coastal scenery and reminders of our industrial past. Walking down this valley all you hear today is the rush of the stream and the calls of the birds. A far cry from the scene 150 years ago when several mines operated within this valley.
