Newquay's Towan Beach looking towards the harbour and Towan Head. As the closest and most accessible beach from the town centre Towan is a popular beach - the scene is very different in mid-Summer.
Just out of view to the right is a house perched upon a narrow rock island connected to the mainland by a narrow bridge. Also just out of view is the Blue Reef Aquarium, overlooking the beach.
