Men Scryfa Standing Stone

Men Scryfa Standing Stone

A solitary standing stone in a field between Men-an-Tol and the Nine Maidens in West Cornwall.

The name of the stone means 'stone of writing' and it is inscribed with markings telling us it marks the burial site of the 'Royal Raven, son of the Glorious Prince' who died in battle here.
