Duloe Stone Circle

Duloe Stone Circle is unusual for Cornwall on account of its small diameter (less than 12 metres) and its large stones. There are 8 stones ranging from 1.5 to 2.6 metres in height. The stones contain the mineral ankerite suggesting they originated in Herodsfoot some 2 miles away.

When this Bronze Age site was excavated in 1861 what is believed to be a burial urn was discovered. Unfortunately it was destroyed in the process, but it does suggest this was a burial site.
