Stepper Point near Padstow

Stepper Point near Padstow

Stepper Point is one of the headlands that marks the entry to the Camel Estuary near Padstow (the other is Pentire Point).

The stone tower that sits on top of the point is known as the Daymark. It was built as a navigation aid for sailors entering the port during daylight.

In the distance you can just about make out Trevose Head with its lighthouse.
