The little sandy beach of Hawker's Cove, just along the Camel estuary from Padstow is a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle. At low tide the sand here joins up with Harbour Cove and you can walk right around to Padstow. However, as the tide comes in the little beach all but disappears. I could be wrong, but as far as I know the row of cottages are old coastguard cottages.
