A peek through the window of the Fisherman's Lodge on the wharfside in St Ives. These fascinating little rooms (there is another next door) are a private space for the retired fishermen of St Ives to relax and socialise whilst looking out over the harbour.
The lodge is located just next to the slipway and a little way from the Sloop Inn. I love the fact that this piece of living history still exists in its prime position on St Ives' harbourfront. This is the kind of location property developers can only dream of.
