Madron Well

Madron Well

There's something really strange and quite disconcerting about this place. The 'holy' well has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries, however, it doesn't have a very holy feel about it. The scraps of cloth (and anything else that apparently is at hand) are offerings of some sort with many of them being written on.

The water in the well here is reputed to cure rickets and assist in divination
