Gwynver (or Gwenver) beach is one of the most westerly in Cornwall, and quite probably the most exposed. If there is a swell running it is likely to be biggest here making it a favourite with surfers.
This was a crisp, sunny day in late December when the beach was virtually deserted. Despite the sun, large swell and offshore wind the waves here were not really surfable.
