Swanpool beach huts

Some of the 22 beach huts that grace Swanpool beach in Falmouth. There have been huts on the beach here since the 1950s and theit popularity shows little sign of decreasing.

Each hut appears to be named after some form of marine life. For example the end one is 'Scallop' with 'Mussel' next door. One of the other huts is less invitingly named 'Congor Eel'.

All the huts are let to local people and there is a considerable waiting list to get a beach hut.
