There are few places where you can find a play to stay this close to the beach. This is Porthmeor beach in St Ives and this row of converted artist's studios and fisherman's stores have some of the best sunset views you'll find anywhere.
Now, I know St Ives fairly well, but these buildings have always looked a bit precarious to me. I mean Porthmeor is an Atlantic facing beach known for its surf so it must get pretty hairy here during big storms. There are many places I'd love to watch a storm from in Cornwall, but these look a little too close for comfort!
