The view across the beach at Portheras Cove on a Summer's evening. This was taken at mid-high tide but there was still plenty of sand.
As you can see this is a fairly quiet spot. This is largely on account of it being a bit of walk and climb to access the beach. The nearest village is Pendeen and that is quite remote in itself.
Portheras was one of the beaches used in the 1970s Poldark series as Nampara Cove.
