Big Pool on the western side of St Agnes is one of only two freshwater pools on the island. It is part of the Big Pool and Browarth Point SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) which describes it as a "mesotrophic freshwater habitat"?!
The grassy area to the right is the islands cricket pitch and overlooking the scene is St Agnes' lighthouse.
