Picnic bench - Lerryn

One of a handful of picnic benches at the side of the River Lerryn just next to the village. This little patch is owned by the village shop and the deal is if you want to sit here and eat then you buy your food at the shop - which seems like a pretty good deal to me! The River Lerryn is one of the main tributaries to the River Fowey a few miles away. It is also said to have been the inspiration for some of Kenneth Graham's novels such as 'Wind in the Willows'.
