Kynance Cove is situated towards the tip of the western side of the Lizard Peninsula. Along with lovely white sand and crystal clear turquoise water it's biggest draw are the weird and wonderful rock formations. As well as the islands there are also a number of imaginatively named caves including the 'Parlour' and the 'Drawing Room'.
The rock itself is largely serpentine and there are apparently 24 varieties to be found ranging in colour from greens to reds.
