The old Post Office and Savings Bank building in Fowey (no longer a post office) The Grade II listed is understood to date from the early 18th century when it was built as a private residence. It only became a Post Office in the 1930s. Interestingly enough I've seen a photo of the building back in 1935 and it only says "Fowey Post Office" above the door. Anyway, it is certainly one of the best looking post offices around.
