A Georgian delight!

A walk around some of the beautiful old streets of this lesser known Cornish town. Helston is probably best known for the Flambards theme park and the Culdrose naval base, as such the town itself is often overlooked.

It's only recently that I have come to appreciate Helston's charms myself. During a bike ride I noticed that as I coasted downhill around the back of the town that there seemed to be an endless supply of wonderful Georgian houses set on leafy streets. Of course it being a bike ride this also involved visiting the cafe by the boating lake for coffee and cake, which is another lovely spot.

This video covers the centre of town including the Grylls Monument and Blue Anchor before heading up to the church and the leafy side streets before finishing up at the boating lake.
