Looking back up the Valency valley and over the harbour at Boscastle. This was taken from Penally Point which is one of the two headlands guarding the entrance to this natural inlet.
As you can see the predominant rock here is slate as opposed to the granite of the near by moors. This is reflected in the houses of the village which are built of the local slate.
