The Savoy Cinema in Penzance is said to be the longest continually running cinema in the UK having opened its doors first in 1912. Over a hundred years on and a few refurbishments down the line and Penzance cinema is still showing the latest films on its 3 screens.
As well as showing all the current box office offerings, the Savoy streams live events onto the big screen from around the world including ballet, opera and theatre.
The cinema is also home to a licensed pizza restaurant upstairs for pre-movie nibbles.
