Redruth's Regal Cinema opened in 1935 and has enjoyed the status of being the biggest and finest cinemas in Cornwall ever since. This reputation has been further solidified with the renovation and refurbishment of the venue by the owners, Merlin Cinemas.
Over recent years the number of screens has been increased to 6 along with masses of other improvements. The main screen now has a capacity of 650 and includes circle, stalls and private boxes. The other screens have been similarly luxuriously appointed with comfy chairs and sofas.
Outside the Regal has been returned to its Art Deco glory complete with neon lighting and signs.
You can catch all the latest movie releases as well as watching live performances cast from the likes of the Royal Ballet, National Theatre, Royal Opera House, the Royal Shakespeare Company and West End Shows.
The fully licensed Regal Bar and Restaurant downstairs serves up a range of pizzas and pasta. There are always movie / meal deals available.
