The North Coast of Cornwall is a beachgoer's paradise irrespective of whether you are looking for the best surf or somewhere to build the best sandcastles. You will have no trouble finding a place to stay in one of the many thriving seaside towns along this coast.
Despite its remoteness and its rugged coast and moors West Cornwall has always been a popular holiday destination. There is something for everyone here with natural splendour sitting alongside family attractions.
Much of North Cornwall has a remoteness not seen in other parts of the county. A wild and rugged coast meets the bleak beauty of Bodmin Moor. Amongst this wilderness you will find some charming villages and stunning, wide sandy beaches.
This sheltered stretch of coast was once referred to as the Cornish Riviera. It includes the popular beaches of St Austell and a plethora of charming fishing villages. At the eastern end, beyond Looe, is the Rame Peninsula - the forgotten corner of Cornwall.
Home to some of the great gardens of Cornwall, this region includes the bustling harbour town of Falmouth, Cornwall's only city and the beatiful rolling countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. More sheltered and less rugged, this part of Cornwall is no less beautiful.
