Halzephron House

The House stands on an unspoilt stretch of Cornish headland with stunning views across the ocean. The interior is decorated in a contemporary, relaxed style with fresh flowers and original paintings. Short walk to village gastropub and sandy beaches.

Halzephron House sits in four acres of headland overlooking Mount's Bay with the coastal path running through the wildflower meadow.

There are three, very private guest rooms. The Tower suite has views in all four directions overlooking the ocean and countryside. There is a kingsize antique French bed upholstered in Carolyn Quartermaine velvet, a travertine marble shower room and an adjoining drawing room with sink-in velvet sofa, TV/DVD (with a selection of films), IPod dock and huge antique mirror. You have your own private entrance via the balcony where you can sit and watch the passing yachts and fishing boats or ask us for an ice bucket and open a bottle whilst you count shooting stars and identify the flickering lights of Tater Du lighthouse.

We offer a delicious cooked breakfast starting with fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals and juice. This is followed by either a traditional English Breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or perhaps pancakes at weekends with blueberries.

We also run the Barefoot Kitchen cafe in the cottage next door. You may wish to eat lunch here, grab a picnic to take on a walk or choose to join one of our occasional 'pop up' restaurant nights, advertised in advance.

As well as The Tower Room suite we can offer you The Cabin or The Observatory. Both are completely separate from the house across the garden and include double rooms. The Cabin has a rolltop bath and the Observatory an ensuite shower room, which is not suitable for the very tall (over 6ft2)!
