Godrevy Beach Café // Hayle

If you've been exploring the dunes, rock pools and cliffs of Godrevy, you can't leave without popping into this lovely little cafe. You'll spot the chalet-style building at the edge of the sand dunes in the National Trust car park.

It's the perfect place for a cooling drink or a warming hot chocolate (delete according to season), and the clientele is a friendly mix of walkers, surfers and everyone who loves a good cup of coffee. The menu is modern and lively, and you can choose from light snacks and cosier fare like soup or sausage rolls. Of course, you can always head straight for the cake…

Sit In the airy upstairs area for views towards the sea, or try to blag one of the outdoor tables (advisable if you're still in your wettie or have a sandy dog). The cafe is generally open from ten until five; however, check the opening times on their Facebook page before setting out.
