Mabe Burnthouse is one of the main settlements in the parish of Mabe, which is located immediately south of Penryn, near Falmouth. Mabe parish church lies to the south west of Mabe Burnthouse. It is dedicated to St Mabon, believed to have been one of the twenty four children of Welsh King Brychan. Mabe Burnthouse lies just off the main Helston to Falmouth road, on a hill overlooking Penryn.
