Stormy Sunset Walk around St Ives

Storm Eunice blew herself out!

After filming the south coast getting pounded by Storm Eunice in the morning I headed over to St Ives to see if the high tide would be anything like as spectacular.

Starting at Porthmeor beach it was certainly windy and the sea was pretty wild, but nothing like the boiling cauldron I'd filmed on the other coast. That said, the beach was as stunning as ever with the sun lighting up the foam blowing around the shoreline.

With Storm Eunice seemingly having blown herself out I decided to head around to the harbour via Porthgwidden and Wheal Dream. At this point the tone of the video changed from storm-chasing to a lovely evening walk around St Ives town with the sun lighting things up beautifully.
