Portherras Cove glimpse

A peak over the hedge row on the coast path down to one of West Cornwall's least known beaches. Portherras cove is a lovely spot but is both difficult to find and get down to. This has always kept it a quiet, very local beach.

To compound this there has always been a risk from the sharp metal fragments left behind by the wreck of the cargo ship Alacrity.

Portherras also has a Poldark connection; this was one of the places used as Nampara Cove in the original 1970s TV series.
