View of Mulfra Quoit from the side.
The only reason it is the side is that the capstone was dislodged around 300 years ago during a mighty thunderstorm. There were 4 uprights supporting the 5 ton capstone but this seems to have vanished.
The quoit is located roughly half way between the north and south coast and the view from here is pretty impressive
