Covean shallows

Covean is possibly the nicest beach on St Agnes in the Scilly Isles. That isn't to say the rest of them aren't wonderful, just Covean has it all. Slightly off the not very well beaten track, there are rarely more than a few people on the beach. Above the shoreline is fine sand and, as you can see, beyond the shore it is calm clear water - just the sort of place to find all manner of sea creatures. Covean is sheltered too. Facing eastwards and in the lee of Gugh (which you can see beyond the yachts) this is a calm and placid spot.
