Brunel Tamar Bridge - 1900s

Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge over the Tamar from Plymouth to Saltash. Opened in 1859 it was another 100 years before it acquired a neighbour (the Tamar road bridge).

The bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and is 170 feet high and over 2,000 feet in length.
