Chyan Farm is situated in a beautiful wooded valley with a river running through it. We are home to Cornwall's Yoga Festival: Surya Yoga Camp. The emphasis is on wild camping and our facilities are basic. We want people to be able to come here and enjoy the experience of connecting with the land, camping a quiet, rural setting under the stars, away from the trappings of the modern world. Here you will find tranquility, encounters with wildlife and an experience quite different to most other campsites in Cornwall.
We have a number of different camping areas at Chyan. All camping areas have access to compost toilets and fresh spring water. Campers can also use the hot showers in our solar powered earthship bathhouse.
Motorhomes, caravans, campers and cars can access our main camping field – the only part of the campsite where cars are allowed next to tents. This is a lovely field bordered by hedges, woodland and apple orchards.
We have separate wild camping areas across the river – no cars by tents at these camp sites. There is a big open field bordered by fruit trees and Cornish native tree species.
In the valley there is a secluded campsite by the woods for 5 tents by the river and there is also a’secret’ camping area well away from the rest in a secret wood with compost toilet. This can accomodate 5 tents.
Campers have the opportunity to volunteer on our Community Field during their stay – please ask us for details.
Campers can have access to our sauna or use of the Apple Barn at extra cost – please contact us for details.
Open fires are allowed on our campsite. We have brassieres available for this purpose.

£3 per child per night (Under 3 years free)
We also have several bell tents and a gypsy caravan available for hire – £25 per person per night. (£10 children)
Sleeps 4 people – 1 double and 2 singles. All bedding provided.
