Polridmouth Cove

Polridmouth Cove

Polridmouth Cove is two beaches in one at low tide, and pretty much no beach at high tide! The south facing cove lies in the shelter of Gribbin Head to the west and has two stretches of sand divided by a rocky headland.

Polridmouth is somewhat off the beaten track, requiring a 10 minute walk from an out of the way car park. Still, it's worth it as the surroundings are beautiful and the backdrop to this side of the cove is a cottage and lake backing onto the Menabilly estate.
