View towards the outer harbour at Polperro on the South Cornish coast. Polperro is one of the most archetypal fishing villages in Cornwall with its warren of narrow streets lined with higgledy-piggledy whitewashed cottages. It also has the harbour to go with it, and quite a sizeable harbour it is reflecting the town's historic importance as a port. These days there are still a few working boats at Polperro, but the main business is taking holidaymakers out on day trips.
