Polkirt Hill from Mevagissey Harbour

Looking across the outer harbour at Mevagissey towards Polkirt Hill. This photo was taken on a summer morning with half the harbour in shadow, turning the still water almost black in appearance.

Mevagissey is still a thriving fishing port unlike many of the smaller harbours along this stretch of coast. It is also picture postcard pretty and a the gateway to exploring the Roseland Peninsula.
