Periglis Beach

Periglis beach on St Agnes in the Isles of Scilly may well be the most westerly beach in England. It looks out over the Western Rocks with thousands of miles of ocean beyond.

Strangely enough the coast here is fairly sheltered with most of the swells broken up by the distant rocks. Just to the left is a jetty and this beach doubles as a harbour sitting in the lee of Burnt Island.
