Newquay Harbour Beach -1930s

The view out over Newquay's harbour beach towards neighbouring Towan beach and the town beyond. Whilst I don't have an exact date for this photo I would say it was the mid to late 1930s judging by the style and prevalence of cars parked on the pier.

Whilst, overall, Newquay may have changed beyond the imagination of the visitors in this photo, the view is remarkably similar ( biggest difference I can spot is where the Blue Reef Aquariam building has replaced the much more elegant pavillion on the promenade at the back of towan beach.
