The night sky over Greenburrow engine house high on the moors of West Cornwall. From here the views over Mount's Bay are fantastic, but not so good on a moonless night like this!
What you can see is the Milky Way running down the right side of the picture. There's also a shooting star at the top right.
The mine at Ding Dong is said to be the oldest in Cornwall, with stories of mining here dating back to Biblical times. The three engine though, date back to the mid 1800s.
The Greenburrow engine house was built in 1865 and was home to a 40 inch cylinder pumping engine.
