The sheltered, sandy beach at Gorran Haven with Little Penhaver beach just around the rocky outcrop. The cove lies in the lee of the 400ft high Dodman Point and a few miles west of Mevagissey. It is on the eastern edge of the Roseland Peninsula.
Like most of the small harbours along this coast Gorran Haven's was built during the pilchard boom of the 19th century. Today there are a few fishing boats still working from here with trips in the summer.
