Fowey River and Polruan - Early 1900s

The view from the top of Fowey, out across the river towards the sea beyond.

From the quality of the photo and the selection of boats I would guess this was taken some time in the early 1900s. The only boats in the harbour are sail boats with the exception of what seem to be a couple of steamers.

I would also say that the hillside in Polruan appears a little less built up, but I don't have a photo from this viewpoint to compare with.
