Bodrifty Iron Age Settlement

Bodrifty Iron Age Settlement

One of the Iron Age roundhouses in the Bodrifty Settlement on the West Cornwall moors.

This is one of 8 roundhouses in the settlement, which along with Chysauster and Carn Euny, is one of the best preserved Iron Age villages in Britain.

When these huts were inhabited (600 BC - AD 43) they were roofed with tall conical thatches
