The living area in this single-storey lodge is open-plan with a kitchen containing an dual fuel oven, grill with gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a dining table for four, and a sitting area with a 43" HD TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV and en-suite shower room, and a twin, along with a shower room. To the front, there is a terrace with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.7 miles, there is a shop, and within 0.1, a pub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Guests have access to an on-site indoor swimming pool, bar, restaurant, children's playground and skateboard park. Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. WiFi is available from The Sunset Bar and restaurant. No barbecuing on decking or grass area and no charging of Electric vehicles from the Lodge. Goonhavern is a small Cornish village situated 1.5 miles inland from Perranporth, the setting for Winston Graham's Poldark novels, written in the 1930s. Goonhavern has a traditional inn, a village shop, a garden centre, and a playground. Known for producing the finest tin, the community still has abandoned pump houses, mine shafts, and workers homes. Perranporth has a lovely sandy beach that spans for three miles at low tide, backed by rugged cliffs ideal for rock pooling. The beach is lifeguarded in the summer and hosted the 2016 British National Surfing Championships.
