Location is amazing!, Whole property and left to get on with it which is nice so you can relax without feeling watched. Got hit by storm Ciaran and a power cut and Host was easily contactable and the lovely Housekeeper was on hand via phone to offer support and check in, incase we needed anything(even offered to get us us something if required)

Sunways can sleep up to 5 people in comfortably sized bedrooms. Enjoy relaxing in the spacious living room which offers the coziness of an open fire in the winter. Prepare meals in a well equipped kitchen with a view and eat together around a table in the charming dining room complete with original pantry. The generous garden in the front includes ample parking space while the large garden at the back of the house is private and sheltered from the wind, catching the sun’s rays for most of the day. There is also a patio area that’s perfect for BBQs overlooking the view across the valley towards Padstow. From the bungalow it is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Sunways is happy to accommodate up to 2 medium sized dogs, as we understand that pets are part of the family too. Sunways has 1 double bedroom with en suite toilet, 1 twin bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 single bedroom with 1 single bed, sleeping a maximum of 5, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and porch/boot room. Sunways is equipped with: TV, DVD, Wifi, fridge freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, central heating, open fireplace (winter only), shower (no bath). Saturday changeover.
On a personal note I would like to mention that Sunways was my family home, the house I grew up in. I have many fond memories of a childhood spent in Trevone. As kids my friends and I spent our time mostly outdoors. For us the summer holidays were the best time of the year. We would head off for the day, sometimes hanging out at the swimming pool on Rocky Beach, sunbathing and swimming at Sandy Beach or wandering around the cliffs, returning home late in the evening tired and hungry! To this day, as soon as I cross the Tamar into Cornwall, I feel that tug in my heart. The rugged beauty of Cornwall calling me home. The fields full of cows and sheep, the moors, the unspoilt coastline with views that take your breath away, the magic of the sea and incomparable sunsets. Not to mention the air, it’s hard not to notice how clean and fresh the air is. Sunways and Trevone will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope that visitors to Sunways will also get to feel the beauty of this place and enjoy all that it has to offer and take home memories of a fun filled yet relaxing holiday.
Trevone is surrounded by picturesque farming countryside and boasts beaches and cliffs that remain untouched Cornish beauty at its best. In the village you can find a farm shop, the local pub and the beach shop and café. Trevone’s sandy beach, which is also known as Porthmissen Beach, has a lifeguard and is dog free during the summer season. The rocky beach, with its natural swimming pool and rock pools, is dog friendly all year round. A walk to the famous Round Hole is a must. Trevone Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for quality of environment and water purity. Trevone is 2 miles from Padstow, an historic fishing port, where you can stroll around the old part of town, visiting St. Petroc’s church which dates back to the 13th century and the Elizabethan country house Prideaux Place. You can wander around the shops, eat a pasty on the quay, visit the world famous Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant or hire a bicycle and ride along the Camel Trail. Following the coast, is Harlyn Beach (dog friendly), one of the best beaches in the area for surfing, coasteering and other water activities. Newquay is a 10 mile drive via the rugged coast road, passing numerous beaches along the way.
