Miners Cottage is in the heart of Cornwall’s mining heritage. Once home to local tin miners and their families, the newly refurbished three bedroom property offers home from home comforts and space for a family. Gardens to the front and rear offer lots of outside space to play and relax, along with secure parking for up to three cars. Inside offers a large living space, separate dining area attached to a good size kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and bath. All three bedrooms are double in size with good quality comfortable beds. The property has new carpets throughout.
We live in the house next door so are on hand if needed, and can accommodate late arrivals. We’ve lived here for 20+ years and know all the best beaches, walks and family attractions. You do not have to see us all week if you chose but we are only a minute away if you need anything.
Camborne is central to many attractions in Cornwall. St Ives, Newquay, Truro, Falmouth and Penzance are all within a 30 or 40 minute drive, even the Eden Project is only 45 minutes away. We are just a ten minutes drive to a number of beaches, including our local favourite Godrevy, where our son surfs. We are a 5 or 10 minute walk to the train station and 5 minutes off the A30. Camborne is a old mining town, which was once one of the wealthiest places in the County. The architecture is evidence of that, alongside the mining history, including it being home to Richard Trevithick, inventor of the steam engine.
