Set in the heart of Truro, the ShelterBox Visitor Centre is a unique insight into what it takes for the charity to respond to natural disasters around the world. From information about the trademark ShelterKit (including having a go at packing one) to how the charity responds on a global level, there is plenty to see and do for all the family.
The centre also features an interactive, educational exhibition on the storms that wreak destruction across some of the poorest countries in the world. There is an immersive VR experience and the Weather Lab provides a look at the science behind these storms.
Enjoy a chance to help and learn about this Cornish charity - perfect for rainy days.
