Director Sarah Brittain is passionate about the artist’s work she exhibits in this large, spacious gallery set out over three floors at the top of Chapel Street in Penzance.
The gallery is situated at the top of historic Chapel Street in Penzance and is within five minutes walking distance of both Penlee House Gallery and also The Exchange Gallery. It is a large, spacious gallery set out over three floors. The ground floor is used for changing exhibitions and the upper two floors are used for mixed work by gallery artists.
Exhibitions at Cornwall Contemporary change monthly and aim to represent the very best of art in Cornwall and from as far afield as Norway and the West coast of America. Well established and highly respected artists often exhibit alongside some of the most promising up - and - coming art school graduates. Regular exhibiting artists include Daphne McClure, Emma Dunbar, Nancy Pickard, Neil Pinkett, Alasdair Lindsay, Maggie Matthews, Emma McClure, Fiona Millais, Antonio Lopez Reche, Biddy Picard, Simon Stooks, Shirley Foote, Paul Lewin, Janet Lynch and Jamie Boyd amongst others.
