Pippin Cottage is a spacious and comfortable holiday cottage on a working farm, sleeping 6 plus a cot. It is within walking distance of the superb sandy beaches of Pendower and Carne. Short breaks available.
Pippin Cottage is part of Penhallow Farm, which is a working farm stretching from the coast to the Fal Estuary in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Owned and farmed by James and Clare Freeth and their three children, Amy, Rob and Stuart, the farm is a balanced patchwork of arable fields, green meadows and mature woodland divided by lush hedgerows that abound with wildflowers in the spring and summer and provide a perfect habitat for thriving bird and wildlife populations. Clare Balding, on her radio programme 'Ramblings', walked from one corner of the farm at Ardevora, through the footpaths and lanes to Pendower Beach at the other extent of our land.
With a well-equipped kitchen and diner, spacious sitting room with woodburner and a large private garden with garden furniture, you will find Pippin Cottage a delightful place to stay at any time of the year.
Wi-fi and electricity is provided free of charge and linen and towels are provided.
To make your stay enjoyable we can arrange babysitting services and a taxi service to and from local pubs and restaurants, and luggage transfers if you are walking the coastal path or cycling the Cornish Way.
We look forward to welcoming you to Penhallow Farm.
