Run free range in this rustic retreat. A contemporary, converted barn perfectly situated on a small farm nr Truro. A dream come true for couples and small families alike.

Straight out of an Enid Blyton adventure: The Old Barn is in the heart of a working farm - piglets, ponies, lambs and chickens; and a mere bridlepath's walk away from Point waterfront. The living room is a generous open plan space with a country kitchen at the far end. Exposed original rafters and a state of the art Nordpeis Norwegian wood burner in the centre of the room add to the rustic feel. Spend cosy evenings in watching old films by the fire and relax after a day's dog walking through the Cornish countryside. With sheepskins to snuggle into (produced from the farm's very own sheep), a giant TV and DVD player you'll struggle to leave this cosy retreat. However, when you do, you'll find you are superbly located to explore both magnificent Cornish Coasts.

If you can tear yourself away from the beautiful interiors of this barn then you could take the King Harry Ferry (10 minutes car) and access the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, with it's numerous superb sandy beaches, restaurants and pretty Cornish villages and towns. There are plenty of fabulous Cornish pubs to choose from in the local area and three all within walking distance of the barn.

This Barn is the perfect choice for families or romantic getaways, where you have the best choice in Cornwall for things to do, everything is within easy reach including the National Trust Trelissick Gardens, Falmouth Maritime museum, St Mawes (via The Duchess of Cornwall Ferry) and Truro with all its fabulous shops, restaurants and much visited Cathedral.

On hot steamy days a visit to Loe beach is a must, (only 10 minutes away) and you can learn to sail, windsurf or kayak here. Or why not pack a picnic and hire a boat on the fantastic sailing waters of the river Fal?

This is a rare gem that visitors return to year after year – after all it is like going back home to the rural peace and freedom we all dream of.
