We are situated in a quiet traditional Cornish village square, in the small township of St. Keverne on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall. We have 2 mile access to the Manacle Rocks via Porthkerris Dive Centre, which boasts some of the best shore and Boat div
We have a large restaurant with subdued lighting and table service, to make your meal a memorable experience, whist our bar is a traditional Cornish affair used by the local residents and visitors alike. To the rear we have a landscaped beer garden, a heated smoking area, and a small enclosed children's play area all with magnificent views across Falmouth Bay.
It is sometimes lively, often informal, but, we hope, always friendly and courteous. Now that you have found us, we very much hope that you will have a relaxing stay, and will leave wanting to return.
Quality and choice are very much our bywords. The kitchen is run under the personal direction of Adam Patterson, our excellent local Chef, who personally designs our specials from week to week. He also specialises in home made meals, freshly caught fish and uses only locally sourced produce*. Our meats are sourced from our local award winning butchers - Retallacks. Whilst you will probably meet the fisherman in the bar who caught the fish you are eating.
Attention to detail, innovation and respect for tradition are applied equally to the handling of light snacks and special Theme nights, from Mexican to Indian and from Italian to French.
The terms ‘fresh local produce’ and ‘homemade’ have been much abused, but here they are used here with total honesty.
