Self-contained cottage ideally situated for exploring the most southerly part of Great Britain. The accommodation is comfortable, light and bright with lovely sea views. Often described as a peaceful haven. In the winter months we offer short breaks.
The Forge was a working forge (pre-1950) before being converted into a home. The holiday cottage is self-contained, has lots of character and is attached to the owner's home. On the ground floor is a kitchen/diner with a television, small log burner, tiled floor and paddle staircase leading to the bedroom/sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with frozen food compartment and microwave. Use of washing machine and dryer is available in the owner's adjoining garage. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with good sized shower, wash basin, toilet, under-floor heating and heated towel rail. On the first floor there is a double bed and a comfortable sitting area where you can relax and enjoy the view. As well as the wood burner there is oil-fired central heating. At the rear of the property is a private patio with gas barbecue which overlooks the fields and the sea. Bed linen, towels (except for beach towels), electricity and gas are included in the rental. There is off-road parking for one car.
