The Mill House is only a short drive to the EDEN PROJECT and is ideally positioned for exploring Cornwall. Walk, cycle or drive to Eden, the choice is yours! Join us for a short break, or for longer, and enjoy our delicious breakfasts.
The Mill is a granite built building, over two hundred years old. We are within a short drive of both the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens and convenient to a wide variety of other places of interest. With both the north and south coasts being easily accessible, The Mill offers an excellent centre for exploring Cornwall.
Our accommodation offers either king size double beds or twin beds, bedrooms are en suite and include a private sitting room which has t.v., dvd player, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. The suite is ideal for two couples or a family in two bedrooms with a large private sitting room which has the enormous beams and pillars of the original Mill, all with very easy access (approached by four shallow steps and all on the ground floor).
We offer a choice of breakfasts - either full English breakfast or continental - using mainly local and/or organic produce and also offer a vegetarian option - all of which we are told are delicious!
Cotton bed linen and down and feather filled duvets should ensure a good night's sleep and your freshly cooked breakfast will give a good start to the day.
We can provide a cot/highchair for a younger child if requested at time of booking.
Bring your dog with you and enjoy the enclosed garden area and access to nearly 3 acres of private grounds and miles of trails - you can choose to walk or cycle to the Eden Project or take your car. Dozens of opportunities for exploring the local area, Heligan Gardens, Lanhydrock House, the south and north coasts, Fowey, Charlestown to mention but a few!
We can give you information/suggestions/directions on places to visit, places to eat and ideas on where you can enjoy some of the amazing and beautiful scenery of the County.
We hope that you leave us with lasting memories of the wonderful landscapes of Cornwall and a determination to return to see more.
